About Clara
I am an experienced Piano instructor with 15 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with school students, college students, and working professionals, helping them develop strong musical foundations and confidence in their abilities.
My teaching philosophy is centered on communication, flexibility, and continuous learning. I adapt my lessons to suit each student's learning pace and objectives, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience.
My lessons include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students understand the concepts behind the music they play.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and foundational music theory. These areas provide students with the tools needed to become independent and well-rounded musicians.
I am committed to helping students achieve their goals while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding. My supportive teaching style encourages confidence, creativity, and consistent growth.

My teaching approach is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and consistent practice. I believe that learning piano should help students build confidence, discipline, and musical expression while enjoying every stage of the learning process.
Students first develop a strong foundation through posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these skills are established, they continue with scales, chords, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I explain every lesson using clear language and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and understand the purpose behind each exercise. This approach helps them become confident and independent learners.
Different musical styles are introduced to expand students' musical knowledge. Creative activities such as improvisation, accompaniment, and performance practice strengthen confidence and artistic expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These related subjects help students develop complete musicianship.
My goal is to provide inspiring lessons that encourage steady improvement, creativity, and a lifelong passion for piano and music.
