About Aimee
I currently collaborate with a university press, where we occasionally receive texts originally published in English. I find it deeply enriching to work with texts in the process of translation, as it allows me to observe how languages represent realities while also identifying the needs of the target audience and the interlinguistic demands this entails.
I also work as a copy editor with a focus on Instructional Design, where I have the opportunity to rely on dialogue to intentionally reconstruct texts in order to influence and engage those who will read the final result.

I take my students’ interests and goals into account so that the learning process is dynamic, meaningful, and productive. As a teacher, I find it deeply rewarding to see my students develop the confidence to truly make the language their own. I strongly believe that learning is most effective when multiple senses are engaged at once, and I use this approach to support each student’s progress.
For this reason, my classes include guided conversation, practical writing, audiovisual materials, and assignments that encourage immersion in academic, professional, literary, and social contexts.
I have experience working with both children and adults, with greater experience teaching adults. I find great joy in challenging the misconception that learning a new language is difficult in adulthood, and I strive to show that progress is always possible with the right guidance.
