About Zoe

I have 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a Bachelor’s in Spanish Language and a Master’s in Linguistics. My academic studies provided detailed knowledge of grammar systems, phonetics, language development, and instructional strategies. Over the years, I have helped students improve for academic goals, professional growth, travel needs, and personal enrichment.

I believe that language learning requires patience, structure, and regular practice. I carefully assess each student’s level and learning objectives before creating a clear and balanced lesson plan. I provide detailed feedback in a supportive way so learners feel encouraged rather than pressured. My teaching style focuses on long-term understanding instead of memorising short-term answers.

Outside teaching, I continue reading Spanish literature and studying new research in linguistics and education. Staying updated allows me to improve my teaching methods and keep lessons effective. I am dedicated to helping students achieve lasting fluency, strong grammar control, and confident Spanish communication.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are carefully structured to help students build strong grammar foundations while also developing natural and confident speaking ability. I begin by focusing on clear pronunciation, vowel accuracy, and correct stress patterns, because proper sound production improves both listening and speaking skills. Grammar topics such as verb conjugations, sentence structure, agreement rules, and question formation are explained in simple English so students fully understand how the language works. After explanation, learners complete guided exercises that reinforce accuracy and reduce common mistakes. Strong foundations make future learning easier and more stable.

As students progress, I expand vocabulary through practical themes like travel, education, workplace communication, and daily conversation. Structured dialogue practice allows learners to organise thoughts clearly before speaking. Listening exercises expose students to natural speech speed and different accents to strengthen comprehension skills. Writing tasks improve organisation, clarity, and grammar control.

Regular review sessions help students remember previously learned material and apply it confidently. My goal is to help students communicate comfortably in Spanish-speaking environments. Through consistent practice, clear explanation, and supportive correction, learners develop fluency, cultural awareness, and strong communication confidence.
