Hi! I’m Aina, and I teach beginner-friendly Japanese for those looking to start their Japanese journey. I have experience teaching university students and freelance learners, and I currently work as a Japanese-speaking in IT industry!

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Aina! I'm a Japanese speaker with experience as Japanese teacher, interpreter and employee! This class covers JLPT N5-level Japanese, suitable for complete beginners who are interested in learning Japanese from the basics.

Lessons will follow the Minna no Nihongo syllabus and cover:

1. Hiragana & Katakana — learn how to read and write Japanese characters
2. Basic Grammar — understand common Japanese sentence structures
3. Vocabulary — build useful everyday Japanese vocabulary
4. Kanji — learn basic kanji commonly tested at N5
5. Conversation — practise simple sentences and everyday expressions
6. Reading & Speaking

Trial lesson will include:

1. The Japanese writing systems
2. Basic greetings and expressions
3. Common Japanese sentence patterns
4. Basic everyday vocabulary

Class session can be arranged during weekday/weekend (we'll try to make it work with each other's schedule) Learning materials and homework will be provided to help you practice and reinforce what you learn outside of class. No prior Japanese knowledge is required and complete beginners are welcome! :)
