About Irene
I am a communication consultant for an organization that deals with environmental issues and indigenous peoples' rights. I know it may sound a bit confusing (my own family still wonders what exactly that means) but for now just imagine me as a designer who is very keen to use her skills to have a positive impact on social and environmental issues.
I was born in Verona, Italy, but I moved to the UK 7 years ago and I currently live in Scotland. I am 26 years old, my hobbies include climbing, music (I play the drums and the guitar), horse riding and hiking.

Are you looking into improving your spoken or writing English skills? I am here to help.
The way we will structure our time together will highly depend on your interests and aims. What are you looking for? Passing a certification test, getting familiar with the technical vocabulary of your discipline or you can't wait to travel and feel at ease meeting new people?
Depending on your level, we will work through a thematic based approach. Between lessons, you'll be asked to engage with articles, videos or other material which you are curious about, which we will then speak through together either through a presentation approach or by exploring grammatic or vocabulary challenges you have encountered. Of course, the same can be applied to written content.
If you are a beginner, we will start from the basis, but we will keep the same approach in order to make learning the language an enrich experience not only from a linguistical point of view but also on a personal and professional level.
