About Victoria
Hi! My name is Victoria Raulet. I am an undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Economics. I am French and Brazilian and did the IB at the International School of Geneva. I graduated with a 6.5 average and a 41+ on the IB.
Grades aside, I love meeting new people, movies, debating, travelling and learning new languages. I am therefore very enthusiastic about languages and tutoring :)
To conclude, I am flexible, introspective, a good listener and communicator. These are important qualities for a meaningful tutor-student relationship, central to the successful academic and personal developments of students…and tutors as well.

The lesson structure depends on what you need and want; I will make our classes very personalized. For languages, it is as interactive as possible, which means we will speak to each other in the language being tutored. At the end, I will also give you titles of books, songs or films in the language you are studying, which I will have researched beforehand or read, listened to or seen myself. I always found this to be an enjoyable and effective way to improve when learning a language myself. We can then talk about those in the next lesson.
That will help give both of us an idea of where you are in terms of understanding of the subject and will enable me to structure the lesson in a way that is tailored to your level of understanding. At the end, depending on how the lesson went and when the next lesson is, you will get some optional "homework" which we will discuss in the next lesson.
