About Mayvis
こんにちわ
My name is Mayvis, I am a college freshman studying Economics. I was born and raised in 東京 (Tokyo) and have three years of experience with one-on-one tutoring through a tutoring program at my high school.
I am also involved with a language acquisition program at my college where I teach elementary students Japanese.
Aside from Japanese, I am also fluent in Mongolian and currently studying Chinese.
With proficiency in four languages, I work well with beginner students as well as students further in their studies. Let’s work together to get you fluent in Japanese, 頑張ろうね！

I tutor beginner to intermediate levels! We would typically adjust the lessons depending on your current level.
Beginners will learn the introductory vocabulary and grammar alongside the three writing systems: ひらがな、カタカナ as well as basic 漢字 (かんじ).
Intermediate levels will focus more on 漢字 while leveling up their speaking/conversational skills!
