About Aahana

Hi! My name is Aahana Paul, and I am a native French speaker and Economics student based in Toronto.

I grew up in Ivory Coast, a French-speaking country in West Africa, where French was not just a subject I studied — it was the language I lived in every single day. This gives me a level of fluency, cultural understanding, and natural expression that goes far beyond what any classroom can offer.

I believe that learning a language should feel natural, not stressful. My lessons are warm, encouraging, and always adapted to your personal goals and learning pace. Whether you are a complete beginner picking up your very first French words, a student preparing for an important exam, or an adult looking to finally feel confident speaking French — I am here to guide you every step of the way.

I welcome students of all ages, from young children to adults, and I make it a priority to create a safe and positive environment where every question is a good question.

My academic background in Economics has also sharpened my ability to explain concepts clearly, break down complex ideas simply, and keep lessons structured and productive.

I am passionate about sharing my language and culture, and I would love to help you reach your French goals.

About the lesson

Subject: French Language — beginner to advanced, including conversational French, grammar, reading, writing, and exam preparation (Core French, AP French, IB classes and more).

Qualifications & Methodology: I am a native French speaker who grew up and lived in Ivory Coast, a French-speaking country, giving me deep fluency and cultural insight that goes beyond textbook French. Now studying Economics in Toronto, I bring a sharp, analytical mindset to my teaching. My lessons are tailored to each student's pace and goals — combining structured grammar work with natural conversation practice so students gain real confidence in the language.

What Sets Me Apart: As a true native speaker, I teach the living language — the rhythm, the expressions, and the culture behind it. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student preparing for an exam, or someone who just wants to finally speak French with confidence, I adapt to you. I welcome all ages, from young children to adults.
