About Lindsey
As a person, I am someone who loves reading, writing, and painting. I enjoy going for runs, and I can make a mean chocolate chip cookie. These are personal things about me, but that doesn't mean they have to stay outside of the classroom. Learning is a personal experience and I want you to bring who you are to the work we do. School can be difficult and overwhelming, so let's find the ways that make it fun and interesting to you. More professionally, I have worked with students struggling with behavioral difficulties, nonverbal, ADHD, special ed, ODD and more. I pride myself on my ability to connect with these students and find ways to make their classes accessible to them. I am here for you and for your learning, so let's tackle this together.

I really enjoy connecting to students as human beings not just academics, and my lessons usually reflect this. I try and find new ways to frame academic subjects by connecting them to student interest. Students struggle if they are uninterested or overwhelmed, I customize and adapt lesson plans to mitigate this. I most often work with middle schoolers, but I have several years of experience with elementary and high school students as well.
