About Rebecca
Hi, I'm Rebecca! I have worked as a Teaching Assistant, which is where my passion for supporting children in their learning truly began. I have completed an undergraduate degree in Education and am currently studying for a Master's in Speech and Language Therapy, giving me both hands-on classroom experience and a strong academic understanding of how children develop language, literacy, and communication skills. I find it incredibly rewarding to see a child's confidence grow, whether they are finding their reading voice or learning to express their ideas in writing. I bring warmth, patience, and real classroom experience to every session.

I am an education undergraduate currently completing a Master's in Speech and Language Therapy, which gives me a unique insight into how children learn to read, write, and communicate. I specialise in English for primary school pupils, tailoring each lesson to the individual child's needs, pace, and learning style. My sessions typically last one hour and focus on building confidence alongside core skills — whether that's phonics, reading comprehension, writing, or verbal communication. I believe every child can thrive with the right support, and I bring patience, enthusiasm, and an evidence-informed approach to every lesson.
