About Joy
Do you ever wonder why your tracks sound thin compared to the records you love? I teach because I want to bridge the gap between having ideas and having a polished product. My 8 years of experience has shown me that technical roadblocks are usually just misunderstandings of signal flow.
I hold a BMus from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. My focus is always on the MUSIC PRODUCTION side of things.
I work primarily with teens and bedroom producers to demystify complex gear. Technique should never stifle the creative spark. It is about the gear serving the song. Keeping it simple is the key.

How does it feel to finally hear your own track translate perfectly across different speakers? Our first session starts with assessing your current signal chain to find bottlenecks.
We examine gain staging, tempo, and groove to ensure your foundation is solid. I break down arrangement and song structure so your creative choices shine through.
We use audio effects creatively to add character without cluttering the mix. My process involves intensive stem and session prep to keep your workflow fast.
I bring 8 years of experience coaching real projects. You will learn how to handle sampling and looping with total confidence. We leave the dry theory aside and focus on the output until the session feels complete.
