About Emily

I am a first class Cambridge graduate, with a 120 hour TEFL certification, and three years of online tutoring experience. I'm creative and can tailor my lessons to fit individual needs, as well as keep them engaging and fun. I can help with any level of English, but specialise in one on one tuition for academic work. I also offer proofreading, interview help, and help with business English - as well as laid back conversation practice! I have just finished my work for the British Council on a year long contract, teaching English as a foreign language to students aged 14-18 in groups of 9-12. I love literature and following current events (I study Philosophy and Public Policy at LSE at masters level), as well as philosophy, and love incorporating student's interests into our lessons together.

With over 4.5 years of online tutoring experience, I am thrilled to offer my expertise in guiding students of all ages and abilities towards academic and professional success through English Language tutoring. As a language assistant in France through the British Council, I had the pleasure of immersing myself in a diverse educational environment, further enhancing my teaching skills. I have a Masters from LSE and a first-class degree from the University of Cambridge, and am dedicated to providing top-notch tutoring services. Flexibility is at the core of my approach, tailoring each session to suit individual needs. Through comprehensive needs assessments, I ensure that every student receives a personalised learning plan that maximises their potential. Creativity is key to engaging lessons, and I take pride in developing unique resources that captivate and inspire, using my extensive experience tutoring online. The first lesson is a complimentary consultation session, enabling us to build a strong foundation for future success. Let's unlock your full potential together!
