About Desiah
I am a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts educator with experience teaching high school students in diverse classrooms both in the United States and abroad. I believe every student has the ability to succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. My teaching style is patient, engaging, and student-centered, focusing on building confidence while strengthening reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. With experience supporting learners from different backgrounds and abilities, I create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing. My goal is not only to improve academic skills but also to inspire students to become confident communicators and lifelong learners.
