I help students build confidence in reading, writing, and communication by meeting them where they are and guiding them step by step. My approach focuses on understanding, not memorization—so students learn how to think, not just what to answer.
I use clear models, discussion, and guided practice to support reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar in context, and critical thinking. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing me to adjust based on each student’s needs and learning style.
A typical session includes a short check-in, focused skill instruction, practice using real texts or assignments, and a quick reflection to reinforce progress and set goals.
What sets me apart is my emphasis on student voice and confidence. I work to make learning feel accessible, supportive, and purposeful—especially for students who feel unsure of their abilities.
My lessons are designed for elementary through high school students, including English Language Learners, and support general ELA skills, essay writing, and academic confidence
