About Emiliano
I am a professional jazz-trained musician from south Melbourne, heavily inspired by the community around me. I have been playing music for close to 15 years now and am currently studying jazz and improvisation at VCA. I am a gigging bass player doing gigs on electric and double bass in genres ranging from jazz, funk, soul, pop, rock, blues and enjoy also playing classical when I have the chance.

Coming from an improvisational background in music, I strongly believe that, for bass players especially, a strong foundation in groove, timing, tone, technique are and being a good overall supportive musician are absolutely crucial. I teach these things by getting students to learn from the greats of our time, analysing what great players do and engaging with students by using such concepts in practical improvisation. Lessons are for all ages and levels from beginner to advanced. Lessons can be either 30 minutes or a full hour, even longer is possible on request.
