Dr Omar taught me two courses during my undergraduate studies in Communication Engineering. I know Dr. Amjad since over 23 years when he used to teach me circuits in my undergrade degree. I became myself a University Professor and I use a lot of his teaching style and methods in my classes. His teaching style is unique. He explains well, he repeats couple of times without being bored or rushed. He knows repetition does help and it does. Not only makes you understand but also makes you remember well, and you will not have to spend time later studying a lot because the info has been retained in your head. I literally copy his style in my classroom. I must add his knowledge and competence in knowing how to explain is remarkable. I got "A" in his class. It gives me a great pleasure to provide a recommendation and support letter for Prof. Amjad to serve as a trusted teacher and an ideal tutor for electrical engineering lessons. I knew him for more than five years as a colleague serving as a Professor of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering (EECE) at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), United Arab Emirates(UAE). He is a distinguished faculty spending his entire life in academic institutions engaged in teaching, research and providing several services. Prof. Amjad has been engaged in teaching several Electrical Engineering courses and advising several senior design projects that are very essential for Electrical Engineering students’ job placement. He uses different teaching methodologies to enhance students’ learning process such as engaging students in interactive group discussions, arranging problem solving tutorial sessions, being available for students outside normal class hours and using online teaching technologies such as Black Board Collaborate Ultra and Microsoft Teams. More recently he served as leading role in developing the curriculum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering program together with his Department colleagues at AURAK.
