About Valentin
I've dedicated much of his life to music - a journey which started by playing piano and drums before switching to a full hardware setup & taking to the decks at a young age.
Over the past 10 years I've DJ'ed in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, USA, Canada, Romania, Mexico, Paraguay & Colombia. I'm also helped of the Live Techno duo Metaphysical Unit.
I started my own imprint - 11001 Records, a Berlin-based record label focused on techno, ambient, experimental and other forms of abstract visions.
I've also released music on various labels such as Circular Limited, Futurepast & last year an 8 track album on Bahn Records.
Beyond music production, DJing & playing Live I'm organizing various events.
I'm the founder of Third Eye Festival, a 3 day Music & Paint Festival in Berlin which had its first edition in 2022. I'm also hosting regular parties in Berlin called ORBIT.
Finally I also co-founded the Teufelsberg Domecast, an ambient experimental podcast & release series with a unique sound installation focusing on live performances played in the Dots Gallery and sent to the dome's natural reverb acoustic at the top of the main building.

One-to-one creative mentoring sessions.
Whether you are new to electronic music production or need help with ongoing projects, you will be supported and guided into different creative processes that allow you to improve your skills, experiment and improvise, challenge current habits and overcome creative blockages.
We will have a first 30min chat free of charge to get to know each other better, to have an assessment of your music production level, current projects, personal needs, intentions and availability. This way, we can establish goals for our sessions.

The creative mentoring sessions are for all artists, producers and electronic music enthusiasts who want to explore and expand their creativity and music production skills, but experience personal obstacles or challenges with regard to self-expression or the music-making process itself.
We all have that critical monologue with ourselves from time to time, but when it comes to our music production time, it can make us feel unmotivated and prone to procrastination - and it doesn't need to be that way. If you thrive better with a personalized approach to your individual needs and you are open to creative guidance, the creative mentoring can help you to adapt and overcome those challenges while broadening your musical experience and production skills, getting projects done without resistance.

During our sessions we will be identifying your potential and what can be improved further. We will go over topics like Ableton Live, hardware and softwares, studio setup and routing, sampling, field recording, sound design, mixing, live performance and more. With a hands-on approach to your projects, you will be introduced to various production techniques, tools and mindsets to help you progress, be it finishing an album/EP or simply learning electronic music production from scratch. We'll do this while respecting your learning curve and personal needs, so that you can find your own unique way of making music and get better in decision-making, music expression and have confidence in your ideas.
In person (Berlin) and online format possible - in English or French.
Deep knowledge of various hardware including Elektron gear (Octatrack / Rytm), Waldorf Blofeld, Dave Smith, Juno to name a few.
