About Mary
I absolutely loved being in the classroom teaching for 10 years! After graduation in 2012, I worked in a middle school primarily with 8th graders. The next 3 years I was able to teach 4th grade to students of military families in our baseball-themed classroom home. After that I taught kindergarten for the next three years. I love teaching little ones how to read, write, and understand early math concepts. I loved watching the youngest learners learn so much with me in a school year! In 2019 I moved to Tennessee where I was able to teach 2nd grade (during the pandemic!) before having my daughter in May 2022. I am still tutoring students individually in their homes most weekday evenings. I love that personal relationship I’ve maintained with each of them and their families.

I am excited to present fun, engaging lessons for my students in one-on-one settings to perfectly fit my students’ needs. I believe every student learns differently than the other. There is no “one size fits all” method that works for the classroom. One-on-one tutoring is the best way to meet students where they are and help them grow to what they can be!
