About the lesson

Hi! I am so excited to be your tutor! With over 20 years of experience as a teacher in New York City, I bring a deep understanding of how to support students of all ages—5 to 18—in reading, writing, literacy, and test preparation. I’ve worked extensively as a private tutor and in school admissions, reading and evaluating high school and college essays, which gives me unique insight into what schools are truly looking for. Whether your child is struggling with early literacy skills or preparing for high-stakes standardized tests, I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve meaningful success. I’m passionate about guiding students through their educational journey and take pride in helping each child grow into a strong, thoughtful, and independent learner.
