About Oliver
Hi, I'm Olly, a Degree Apprentice at J.P. Morgan working in Finance, specifically in the FinTech Strategy space, with a passion for helping young people achieve their goals.
Having recently completed A-Levels and successfully secured a place on a highly competitive degree apprenticeship programme, I understand the challenges students face when it comes to exams, university applications, apprenticeships, CV writing, interviews, and career planning.
My mentoring sessions are tailored to each student and can cover everything from academic confidence and study skills to career guidance and application support. Whether you're unsure about your next steps, preparing for an interview, choosing between university and apprenticeships, or looking to strengthen your CV, I'm here to help.
I take a friendly, supportive, and practical approach, focusing on building confidence and providing real-world advice that students can immediately put into practice.
I know how overwhelming it can feel when making decisions about your future, and my aim is to help students gain clarity, confidence, and direction while developing the skills needed for long-term success.

I have experience tutoring and mentoring students with a strong focus on employability and real-world career skills. Through my Degree Apprenticeship at J.P. Morgan, across Corporate Development & Partnerships as well as Strategic Execution, I’ve gained first-hand insight into what employers look for in a competitive job market. I use this experience to help students build confidence, communication skills and early career awareness alongside academic progress. My lessons are structured, practical and tailored to each learner, combining subject support with guidance on mindset, professionalism and navigating opportunities so students are better prepared for the realities of today’s demanding career landscape.
