About Kolam
With 12 years of experience as a French tutor, I have worked closely with High School and College students and successfully taught around 150 to 200 learners. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, adaptability, and continuous encouragement. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, so I focus on making the process smooth and stress-free.
I design my lessons according to each student’s learning pace and ensure that they fully understand each concept before moving forward. I use a mix of grammar practice, vocabulary building, and conversation exercises to make lessons engaging and practical.
One of my notable achievements is helping students improve both their grades and their confidence in speaking French. Many of my students have developed a strong interest in the language and continue to use it beyond academics. I am committed to guiding every student with care and dedication.

My teaching style for French focuses on building strong foundations while also developing practical communication skills. I use real-life examples and case studies to simplify concepts and make learning more engaging and meaningful. This approach helps students connect what they learn with real-life communication.
I follow a flexible teaching method where lessons are customised according to each student’s needs, goals, and progress. I encourage collaboration by involving students in interactive activities such as discussions, role-plays, and speaking exercises that improve fluency and confidence.
I also maintain a compassionate and encouraging environment where students feel supported throughout their learning journey. Along with French, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing skills, along with cultural awareness to provide a complete and enriching learning experience.
