About Jannis
Hi, I’m Jannis, a handpan player and teacher with a deep love for rhythm, melody and mindful sound. I offer relaxed, supportive handpan lessons for beginners and intermediate players who want to explore the instrument in a natural and intuitive way.
My teaching style is calm, patient and encouraging. I like to create a space where you can learn without pressure, explore the instrument with curiosity and enjoy the process of making music.

Handpan Lessons – Learn to Play with Flow, Feeling and Confidence
My lessons are not only about learning patterns and techniques, but also about developing musical confidence, flow and your own personal sound. The handpan is a very accessible instrument, even if you have no previous musical experience. Together, we can work on rhythm, touch, dynamics, improvisation, scales, coordination and creating beautiful musical phrases.
Each lesson is adapted to your level and interests. We can focus on:
Handpan basics and playing technique
Rhythmic patterns and grooves
Melodic development and improvisation
Building confidence and flow
Creating your own compositions
Playing more freely and intuitively
Mindful, meditative playing
Whether you have just bought your first handpan, are thinking about getting one, or already play and want fresh inspiration, I would be happy to support you on your journey.
Lessons can be held in English or German.
