I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this letter of recommendation for Aritro Chakraborty whom I have known from closer quarters through my association with him during the months of preparing the school magazine (The Bosconian, for the academic session 2019-2020). He was entrusted with the responsibility of the English editor of the magazine considering his command over the language and his immense interest and ability to execute tasks responsibly.
Through regular interaction with him for around ten months I have observed that more than just being a student of English, Aritro genuinely loves the subject and is an avid reader of everything from popular fiction to classics and non-fiction. He does not shy away from any genre of book. He has often surprised me with his great analytical skills and innovative perspectives to discussions with his wide array of knowledge of information from beyond the curriculum. Furthermore, Aritro is an incredibly fast reader which proved of great help for the magazine work.
An ebullient and vivacious student, I found his energy and enthusiasm contagious helping enormously in motivating each member of the magazine committee to work with the same zeal and dedication. Juggling school work, co-scholastic and magazine work, he proved to be quite punctual with deadlines and submissions. His popularity among his peers have been evident in distribution and delegation of work.
Aritro is a young man with a sharp sense of humour. He leaves a lasting impression on those around him. His ability to succeed in an education system that values his voracious appetite for reading and learning is undeniable in my opinion, and I strongly recommend that you seriously consider him for admission to your institution.
