About Ruby

With 7 years of teaching experience, I specialize in making piano learning enjoyable, practical, and meaningful for every student. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music, which provides a solid foundation in theory and performance. I have taught beginners, intermediate students, and advanced learners preparing for exams or recitals. My lessons are student-centered and tailored to individual needs and goals. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain rhythm, melody, and harmony in relatable ways. Motivation is central to my teaching, and I encourage students to set goals and celebrate progress to build confidence. Problem-solving is included in every lesson to help students develop analytical thinking and independence. I emphasize integrity, creating a safe, honest, and supportive environment for learning. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and personal interests. Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and composition.
