About Marianna
I am currently studying at King’s College London and have completed my second year gaining a first class and attained a high first class in grammar and oral exams, too. Prior to this, I attained the French Academic Award for three consecutive years at secondary school and have gained experience in supporting children at The Fulham Bilingual, a unique partnership between Holy Cross Catholic Primary, a state English school and L'Ecole Marie D'Orliac and ChristChurch Primary School, Barnet. In addition, I successfully completed additional oral and written courses at the Institut Français, Royaume-Uni. Drawing on former teaching experiences during work experience, I am aware of the importance of adjusting my approach and level to secure excellent progress from individual starting points, using a multi-facetted inclusive approach to tailor my style to individual needs. Analysing strengths and next steps across the various strands will form a key part of my assessment of your progress and we will focus on aspects across each component such as grammar, speaking and listening, comprehension, writing and translation in accordance with the student’s and school/examination requirements. Having attended both state and independent schools, I am familiar with 7+, 11+ and 13+ and state school assessments, including GCSE. My aim is to achieve excellent progress and high quality learning and outcomes with you in a caring, enjoyable and challenging and trusting ethos. I am patient, passionate, reliable, committed using positive reinforcement, praising effort and success and encouraging further progress.
