About Graham
I am an experienced flute tutor with 8 years of teaching background, working with students from school to college level. I am passionate about helping students develop their musical skills and confidence. Over the years, I have guided many students in achieving important milestones such as performing on stage.
My teaching style is flexible and student-focused, adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs. I focus on fundamentals like breathing, rhythm, and technique while also encouraging creativity and expression.
I believe music learning should be inspiring and enjoyable, and my goal is to help students build a lifelong connection with music.

My flute teaching methodology is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to provide a structured and engaging learning experience. I believe that learning music should be both enjoyable and disciplined.
I begin by understanding each student’s level and learning goals so I can plan lessons accordingly. I motivate students by setting clear and achievable targets and appreciating their progress.
Communication plays an important role in my teaching, as I explain breathing techniques, finger placement, and tone control in a simple and easy manner. With integrity, I guide students honestly and ensure they build strong fundamentals.
I correct mistakes patiently and support steady improvement. Creativity helps me design lessons that include songs, exercises, and interactive activities to keep students interested. I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training along with flute to help students develop a complete understanding of music.
