About Alexandra

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hull and I'm currently working as a Sales Engineer in Food & Water for global company Alfa Laval. I design and sell heat exchangers for big food and beverage corporations all across the UK.

I grew up in Spain, so I'm fluent in English and Spanish and pay a lot of attention to detail when it comes to grammar, pronunciation and perfecting all aspects of language and communication, whether it be for casual or professional purposes.

I am a numbers person and work very well with figures. I am also patient and understanding, as well as creative - I have always found very good ways of explaining Maths problems to friends and fellow classmates, so I thought I could put this talent to good use!

Finally, I have a big passion for cooking and would love to share my interest for good tasting and healthy food with whomever was willing to learn!

About the lesson

I give lessons to whoever is willing to learn - I usually get to know the student a bit beforehand to figure out what learning method works best for them, as well as what their weaknesses and strengths are, what their objectives are and how fast/slow they want to take it.
