Hi, I'm Tannu! My approach to teaching English focuses on practical communication, not just grammar rules memorized for exams. I believe confidence in speaking matters just as much as correctness, so I create a comfortable, judgment-free space where students feel free to make mistakes and learn from them.
Class structure: Each session starts with a short conversation warm-up to build fluency, followed by focused practice on a specific area — grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or writing, depending on the student's goals. I wrap up with a small speaking or writing exercise so students actively use what they just learned, rather than only listening passively.
My approach: I break down grammar concepts into simple, relatable examples instead of complex rules, and I regularly incorporate real-life scenarios — conversations, emails, interviews — so learning feels useful, not abstract.
