About Erin
Hi! My name is Erin:) I am a current engineering student at Dartmouth College. Growing up in South Korea and Canada, I struggled to navigate my identity between two distinct cultures and languages. I am excited to help fellow ESL students with similar challenges I went through!

I have three years of experience teaching AP and SAT preparations for high school students. Furthermore, I have taught ESL adults how to prepare for TOEFL and IELTS exams. A typical 2-hour tutoring session will look like:
1. The student solves a practice exam at home and grades it.
2. In the first hour, we review the students' mistakes and discuss strategies for improving reasoning and test-taking skills.
3. In the second hour, we will tackle the foundations of the field in which the students need to improve. Depending on the student, the field could be English grammar, comprehension, algebra, or composition.
The balance of problem-solving and theoretical learning helps the students not only overcome their fear of test-taking but also improve their English and Math skills in general!
