About Abhigyan
I currently am a final year engineering student (2016-2020) of the branch Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have a B.Muse degree in Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal) and 5+ years of experience in music production (Pop, Rock, Indie and EDM). Other than production, I also perform as a DJ, keyboardist and as a guitarist.

I mainly teach music production and I break it down the following way -
1. First I would teach about the basic sound elements that make up a piece of music (with guidance about the frequency spectrum and tonal balance).
2. Next comes rhythm with proper introduction to time signatures, tempo, pop culture influence on rhythm, etc.
3. After rhythm, I would go with melody with reference to basic music theory and about setting the motive/mood of a song.
4. After all of it, I would give challenges to make a song out of the knowledge gained.
During the lessons, I would also ask the students to express what they have learned so far in the form of short samples of audio.
