About Fatoumata
I’m a native French speaker from France, currently studying in Montreal. I am an engineering student from France, currently in Montreal completing a double degree in International Project Management in Civil Engineering at ÉTS. Before coming to Montreal, I studied at ESTP Paris, one of France’s leading engineering schools, and I completed two years of intensive preparatory classes (equivalent to advanced college-level studies in mathematics and physics, designed to prepare students for competitive entrance exams to top engineering schools). As a tutor, I focus on adapting my teaching to each student’s needs. My methodology combines clear explanations, problem-solving practice, and strategies to help students gain confidence. I make sure concepts are well understood before moving on, using concrete examples and interactive exercises. I think what sets me apart as a tutor is that I have: - A strong academic background in mathematics, physics, and engineering - Experience with both the French and Canadian education systems, allowing me to adapt to different curricula - Patience, clarity, and a genuine passion for teaching - I also teach French as a native speaker, making me a good fit for beginners who want to learn the language in a structured and engaging way
