About Hiba

Hello! My name is Hiba. I'm a 19-year-old from India-Kerala, currently pursuing BTech in Computer Science. I've always had a genuine love for learning and teaching. Ever since school, English has always been one of my strongest subjects — I scored full marks in Class 10 and 94 in Class 12 CBSE exam, and I’ve always enjoyed helping my friends and classmates understand tough concepts in a simple way. Math, on the other hand, wasn’t my easiest subject in school since the CBSE syllabus is quite challenging. But once I started BTech, I realized that the strong foundation I built in +2 made engineering math much easier for me. This gave me the confidence that I can now explain math clearly to younger students and guide them effectively up to Class 10 level. I also have a clear and natural way of speaking English, and I’m comfortable with both American and British accents. This helps me guide students not just in reading and writing, but also in speaking with confidence. For me, teaching is more than just explaining lessons — it’s about making students feel comfortable, motivated, and capable of achieving their goals. I enjoy creating a friendly learning space where students can ask questions freely, improve at their own pace, and actually enjoy the process. I look forward to supporting my future students in building strong skills, gaining confidence, and reaching their full potential.

About the lesson

As a 19-year-old BTech student with a strong CBSE background, I bring a fresh, interactive, and student-friendly approach to teaching. I believe learning should never be limited to “just reading and writing.” My classes are designed to be engaging, practical, and enjoyable, where students actively participate rather than passively listen. Subjects I Teach: 1. English (Up to Class 12 CBSE/State & for Adults/College Students): -I scored 100/100 in Class 10 English and 94/100 in Class 12 English (CBSE). -I can help with English proficiency, pronunciation, accents (American & UK), and communication skills. -For school students, I teach grammar, writing, comprehension, and exam strategies. -For adults/college learners, I focus on fluency, confidence, and practical usage of English. -I am willing to include any other needs in teaching for adults or students on demand. Mathematics (Up to Class 10 CBSE/State): -Being a BTech Computer Science student and a CBSE graduate, I am confident in teaching Math up to Class 10 (CBSE/State syllabus). -My method focuses on simplifying concepts, problem-solving practice, and building confidence rather than rote memorization. -I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, ensuring they understand thoroughly before moving ahead. Class Structure: For School Students (English & Math): -Regular 1-2 hour sessions on weekdays or weekends (depending on their needs). -On weekends, I also offer longer revision sessions for syllabus catch-up or exam preparation. -Flexible approach — if students need a break or extra revision, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly. For Adults & College Students (English): -Weekend sessions (longer hours) for working professionals or learners who want focused learning. -Daily/alternate-day 1-hour classes for those wanting consistent progress. -Practical, conversation-based learning with exercises to improve fluency, pronunciation, and accent.
