About Hailey
I am a rising Junior at the CUNY City College of New York studying English creative writing and anthropology to become a linguistic anthropologist. I have been teaching ELA at a school in Queens for up to two years now with positive results! My poetry has also been featured in contests and magazines! I am incredibly excited to meet younger writers with similar aspirations!

In order to write, we must read! For writing classes, short stories or 1 book will be assigned and read very carefully! A typical lesson includes reading a small excerpt, talking about it, and then applying those literary techniques into one's own writing! Students are encouraged to make creative liberties as long as they are okay with me reading it. We will work on the many elements of poetry and prose! My lessons are mainly geared to middle school or early high school aged students who are considering English for higher education, but I am incredibly flexible and welcoming to most!
NOTE: Learners must have access to stable Wi-Fi connection, a PC or Laptop (phones will not do!), and Google Docs!
