About Damilola
I've always enjoyed helping people understand things more clearly, especially when something first feels difficult or confusing. That interest is what naturally led me into teaching.
I'm a graduate of Educational Technology, and over the past two years of classroom teaching practice, I've worked closely with students in real learning environments. That experience taught me that every student learns differently, and the best teaching comes from patience, clarity, and consistency.
Outside the classroom, I also work with digital tools as a web development trainee and virtual assistant. This has shaped the way I think and communicate, I've learned how to break down complex ideas and make them easier to understand.
I teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence, not just in grades but in how they approach learning itself. My goal is to make English and Basic Math feel less intimidating and more achievable for every student I work with.

I’m a graduate of Educational Technology with hands-on teaching experience from classroom practice over the past two years. During this time, I’ve worked closely with learners of different levels, which has helped me understand that no two students learn the same way and that patience, clarity, and the right approach make all the difference.
I teach English and Basic Mathematics with a strong focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing them.
In English, I help learners build confidence in speaking, improve grammar, and develop practical communication skills for everyday life. In Math, I break down topics into simple step-by-step explanations so students can understand the “why” behind each solution, not just the answer.
My lessons are calm, interactive, and tailored to each student’s pace. I pay close attention to where a student struggles and adjust my teaching style to match what helps them learn best whether that means slowing things down, using real-life examples, or practicing together repeatedly until it clicks.
I also have experience as a web development trainee and virtual assistant, which strengthens my ability to use structure, digital tools, and clear communication in my teaching. This helps me create more organized and engaging learning sessions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I remain flexible depending on the student’s needs and learning pace.
I work with beginners and intermediate learners who want to build strong foundations, gain confidence, and improve steadily over time.
