About Charlie
I am a confident and enthusiastic individual with an aptitude for all things English Literature and Language. I love to write and read, and hope to share this passion with others. I remember keenly just how difficult secondary school can be, and so I feel strongly about helping young people through this tricky time in their education with optimism and understanding, so that they too may achieve the grades they deserve to thrive later on in life.

I take a calm, understanding and optimistic approach to all of my lessons, cultivating each lesson plan to the individual student. I am looking to tutor young people (aged 11-18) of all abilities in English Literature and Language, as well as functional written exam skills. I have had training in a range of SEND needs, including ASD and ADHD, and am confident working with students with these need types. I am also trained in Developmental Language Disorder, and working with students to better access language despite their DLD.
