• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed an interest in my leaving very year and continued with English and history into my college years

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I love early Irish history and I love Poetry in English.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  My history teacher was a role model to me and is the reason why I continued on with history into my college years

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I think personality is a large part of tutoring but also someone who knows what they are talking about

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I was not a huge lover of maths or sciences but the arts always drew me to them

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  The difficulty is always containing a lot of information into a short amount of words

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  I love teaching and sharing my knowledge to others
