About Frieda Amalia

I am half Spanish, half German, but I moved to the UK when I was 12, which gave me a unique perspective on language learning.

I have been tutoring since I was 16, and I absolutely love teaching. Outside of teaching, I love travelling, learning languages, and meeting people from different cultures. I am currently learning Italian, French and Russian.

About the lesson

My 50-minute lessons are relaxed, friendly, and conversation-focused, giving you a safe space to practise without worrying about making mistakes.
Rather than relying on repetitive grammar exercises, I focus on meaningful conversation using authentic materials such as news articles, videos, podcasts, workplace scenarios, and everyday topics. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, helping you remember and use new language naturally instead of memorising rules in isolation.
Together we'll expand your vocabulary and help you sound more natural while discussing topics that genuinely interest you.

As a TEFL certified teacher, my lessons are suitable for anyone of any age who wants to improve their English fluency.
