About Heather
I'm a recent graduate whose subject specialism is literature with experience of mentoring students during high school. I'm caring and an excellent communicator, written and verbal, which makes me an ideal tutoring candidate aspiring to teach full-time. While my experience is limited my literary knowledge and skills are fresh; having the recent experience of being both a student and presenting to small groups in seminars makes me relatable and aware of current study methods.

Being a recent graduate I understand how it feels to learn new skills thus am compassionate to different learning styles and am adaptable to each student's preferences. Having achieved an A in all English exams throughout school and a 2:1 degree at University level I'm able to tutor any level below postgraduate study. Learning is different for everybody and we learn best when we're confident and comfortable; this is why I'll make it my aim to get to know where you are with your learning and what style suits you to progress. I'll offer the first lesson or 2 for free to chat and come up with a plan that you're comfortable with before we dive into a personalised programme.
