About Tiffany
Hi! I'm Tiff, a 23 year old who lives in York.
Having done English GCSEs and A level myself, I chose to do an English degree at the University of Birmingham.
I've fallen in love with understanding texts and how we can write about them, but there were certainly plenty of times when understanding Shakespeare and poetry felt like an uphill battle
The brilliant teachers and tutors who inspired me along the way to believe in my ideas truly shaped me.
My aim as a tutor is to pass on that same inspiration and encouragement to English students that allowed me to excel in the subject.

My 1 hour lessons are all about coaching you to reach your full potential in English A Level or GCSE exams by building your confidence and toolkit.
Sessions are broken up into small tasks and games tailored to the key skills you need for language analysis and essay writing.
My lesson plans are student led, so I can make sessions on the areas you want to focus on, based on the texts you're studying.
I have experience Coaching GCSE English students in school as a teaching assistant and have graduated from university with an English degree.
