About Rhiannon

I am an English graduate from the University of Liverpool and have been working with students for 3 years. I have TESOL training and worked with international students to improve both their creativity and grammar. I'm looking to help tutor anyone struggling with English including written and oral comprehension, and I'm happy to help teach any syllabus specified for both home and international students. I achieved A in my GCSE English Literature and English Language, have a first-class degree in English, have worked with many English linguistics researchers and can speak intermediate Chinese.

About the lesson

I ideally want to be teaching students up to the age of 14 to tutor them on basic literacy skills including syntax / grammar, vocabulary, as well as genre to help prepare them for further education or to help improve career prospects. This can be in either extra GCSE-related lessons, or extra spelling and grammar exercises - the choice is up to the student and the parent. I prefer to begin lessons by talking to the student and / or parent to see what they need and building a regular and routine schedule around this. I always go the extra mile for anyone I work with and this is reflected in my tutoring ethos.

Rhiannon is an amazing tutor. She always makes you feel calm and ease with whatever you need and therefore any question you have is never an issue with her.
