About Seán

Hi, I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher. I am registered with the Teaching Council and Garda Vetted based in Douglas, Cork.

I have 11 years teaching experience having qualified with an honours degree from Hibernia College in 2015. Irish was part of my undergrad which was a BA in UCC. Since completing my degree, I have worked as a class teacher at a 1st Class, 4th Class, and 6th Class level and have worked as a learning support teacher for 4 years in every grade from Junior Infants to 6th Class.

I obtained a permanent position in city centre school in Cork in 2020. I am currently teaching 4th class for the fourth consecutive year.

About the lesson

I aim to improve children's reading fluency, writing fluency, vocabulary, comprehension skills and oral language skills through a variety of tasks, activities and games at a primary school level.
Lessons are 1 hour long for children aged 5-13 from junior infants to 6th class.
