About Hiba

I am an English Language Teacher CELTA qualified Teacher as well as MA in English Language Teaching. I have been a tutor for more than 7 years, I have ESOL teaching experience and have been providing private tuition to 5 to 16-year-old children doing Maths, English and/or Science. I persevere to make sure my students learn and achieve the best they can. My tutoring style is usually focused 1 to 1 tuition and my aim is to ensure my students reach or even exceed their target, a strategy that has proved to be great with an excellent success rate. So allow me to achieve those goals with you! After my undergraduate studies in Accountancy & Business, I worked in an independent secondary school for more than three academic years. My role was a finance and management officer at this school. During that time, I was involved in the day-to-day administration of the school as I interacted with students, teaching staff and parents which sparked my interest in the education system. This involved working with teachers in resolving students’ educational issues, building a strong relationship between the parents and school management as well as improving the atmosphere for students’ learning standards; which inspired me to further my career. Subsequently, I studied Certificates in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) in 2016 and taught abroad in Saudi Arabia for one year in addition to my previous years of experience in the UK. In my years of experience of working with students from underprivileged backgrounds, I observed that some of the problems they face are not met with the ‘real world’ educational solutions that they require. This has encouraged me to look for the source of their problems and find out the appropriate solutions they need.
