About İlyas
I am a 3rd year English Language and Literature student. In addition to literature courses, I took and successfully passed courses such as Academic Writing, Linguistics, Critical Thinking, Translation, Literature in Second Language Learning, and TESOL.
SAC (Self Access Center) in which the preparatory students can work outside of class hours, ask their questions, attend 40-50 minute lessons prepared by department students and teachers on many different subjects, especially Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills. I was a volunteer student moderator for 1 year and worked part-time for 6 months. During this experience, I had the opportunity to work separately on four basic skills with students at different levels, from Elementary to Upper-Intermediate.

Lessons are adjusted according to the level of the student and the skill they want to work on.
Although it varies according to the level of the student, generally the lessons are preferably proceeds in English.
I try to apply game-based learning methods in order to easily transfer visual and auditory learning styles to the student at the beginning levels.
I can support the lesson with visual and auditory materials according to the needs of the student, especially verbal skills for intermediate and upper levels.
