About Marco
I graduated in Political Science at three-year courses and I studied International Relations in English at the University of Bologna. I have been studying the language for 16 years now and have traveled and stayed in English-speaking countries (United Kingdom, Iceland, Sweden) and not; I obtained the Ielts certification in 2019, obtaining an overall score of 8.0, equivalent to C1 / C1 + of the Cambridge. I write and speak in English without problems and watch interviews and videos almost exclusively in English every day, as well as attend university lectures. I tend to talk more in American English than in British.

As the linguistic certifications indicate, knowledge goes by levels; each student starts from a certain level and from there must take the first steps for a greater understanding and ownership of the language. My support as a teacher consists at first in identifying the level of the student and consequently planning lessons, tailor-made. For "educational" questions, usually, the writing has a greater importance than the spoken word, therefore it constitutes the basis of the lesson; however, the oral will have an equivalent weight and, where possible, I am open to using English instead of Italian as the primary language, even for small and simple dialogues, based on the preferences and objectives of the student. Students can be elementary school children, middle school, high school students, university students, but also adults or simply people who want to learn the language / improve their knowledge; I am not in any way a teacher for official language certification courses and exams, but I can give you some tips about it.
