About Emily
I am a recent graduate, now travelling and living in New Zealand.
In school I struggled with English and History due to having Dyslexia and ADHD. After having a teacher who showed me that my differences in opinion and way of thinking were what made me good at the subjects, that I began to excel. I believe that everyone has a unique opinion on literature or historical events, sharing this helps to build confidence in your mind and abilities. I would love to help foster that confidence, preparing students for exams or further study.

I achieved a BA Hons at the University of Kent, in the UK, in English Literature and History, finishing with a 2:1.
I have studied Literature and History in many different contexts, looking at many places around the world.
I understand that sometimes these subjects can feel overwhelming and unapproachable, I had my own learning curve with them in school, but I believe that interest is the first step to understanding, from understanding comes their own thoughts, opinions and insights.
A typical lesson would be 1 hour, for students Levels 1-3.
