About Jude
A graduate of English and Creative Writing, I want to offer a safe space for critique outside of the pressures of the academic grading system. I have found through my own personal experience that the pressure to create something “good” often kills the desire to create. I want to teach and offer a none bias view on work knowing each student will go away with a different perspective on their work that isn’t trapped by a numerical value.

Through exploring past papers and mark schemes, each lesson will guide the student through the prior exam questions and examples as a general outline, with a further focus on specific issues related to both the current work and the general issues of the student themselves.
Each lesson will examine multiple texts with critique to showcase high achieving examples of text response and responses that have garnered lower marks. There will also be the opportunity to share their own written work and receive feedback and objective critique in a creative manner, covering both formal and informal writing styles for students who need to cover both exam style responses and creative writing.
