Coach Mike is amazing! Great with kids. My daughter and son have both have lessons with him. For both of them, their games have improved. Their confidence is up and their drive to succeed has only become stronger.

Mike coached both of my sons, one in basketball and one in skiing. My son who played basketball said the best thing was “the work ethic he instilled” and my skier son said he liked his “immediate and direct feedback and how to apply it to his skiing”.

Coach Mandel has coached my son the last three years in basketball. My son could not wait to train with coach. The coach has made him a better basketball player but even more importantly made him a better person. Coach always took the time to set behavior goals which were more important then just setting outcome goals. The outcome was a much better basketball player who understood and loved the game by more then double once the coach was done with training.

Coach Mandel was able to teach the right techniques and motivate the team while maintaining a fun environment. Definitely a great experience.

Coach Mike was my son's basketball coach for many years. He taught my son all there was to know about basketball and did it in a way that made it easy for children to understand. The kids were only in 2nd grade when my son started. Coach gave every child his attention and every boy on the team got their chance to succeed.

The knowledge and ability to relate to each player. The amount of patience displayed was incredible when others would have been frustrated Mike was able to explain it a different way and take a different approach. A asset to every sport he coached.

I had been skiing for 15 years when I first met Mike and in a couple years he took me from a good recreational skiier to a "ski any mountain" expert. I also learned a lot about coaching by observing his coaching style and incorporating his style and techniques into my own coaching.

Mike has been involved in the ski industry for a long time and is one of the most knowledgeable teachers I have ever had the experience of being with.

His dedication to making everyone he teaches or coaches the best is an understatement. He built one of the best race programs NJ has ever seen and always treated everyone with respect. If you ask anyone who has ever had the privilege of working with or for him, they would only speak of what a great mentor and friend he is.

Mike treats you as a friend and his kindness shows through in his teaching. The best part about Mike is his ability to build confidence through proper teaching.
