About Alex
I have spent 13 years teaching English. Students have ranged from 3 to 66 years of age. Some have been native English speakers, whilst others have been people for whom English is their second or third language.
I have successfully prepared over 300 students to take a variety of exams.
Over my 13 years of teaching, I have discovered that students flourish when they have a teacher who can adapt to their needs.
I love working with students, getting to know them, and guiding them through their academic endeavours.

My teaching philosophy is based on making students feel both comfortable and confident in both the lessons, and in terms of their relationship with the subject.
The student's unique objectives, personality, learning style, and confidence all need to be taken into account when tailoring classes in order to achieve the best possible results.
I aim to break down complex terms and concepts, thereby making them easier to understand, use, and explain.
Motivating students is also essential to success. Using games, challenges, and engaging conversation topics are some of the ways in which I feel this is best achieved.
