About Jess
I am an English Literature student, currently based between Norwich and Loughborough, willing to offer online based tutor classes to struggling students. I specialise in A-Level and GCSE based material but can cover all types of essay-writing practice. I am currently tutoring friends of the family, whose grades have significantly improved since the beginning of the year! I received an A (7) in English Literature at GCSE and an A* (9) in English Language and went on to achieve an A* in English Literature at A-Level.

As mentioned, I specialise in GCSE and A-Level material but am willing to help anyone with the art of essay-writing and building sustainable exam techniques when it comes to English. As a tutor, I believe it is crucial that students feel as though they have a firm understanding of the texts they study, before moving on to begin close analysis and links to wider themes and texts. I also believe, in order to feel the most prepared as possible, it is vital to essay plan and so a typical tutor session with me will include a lot of this, so that the student goes into their exam feeling as though they can tackle any question thrown at them.
