I scored in the top 4% in the UK in my English GCSE’s, worked at continuously high grades in my A levels in literature (B-A*) and I am now a first year studying English literature at Swansea University.

My teaching method is to find and focus on what the student lacks in their writing first, then to gradually challenge the student to have confidence in their own ideas and thought processes, by practicing the art of planning and executing arguments to the extent where they are able to do it with seen and unseen extracts using the guidelines I have taught them. Confidence in your own ideas and writing style is one of the most important things needed to be successful in this subject; I intend to help my students reach this level.
